Seed grading, treating and packing
Our experienced, highly trained team handle the grading operations from both our purpose-built static facility and mobile grading unit. The machinery is specially designed to minimise damage to the beans and seeds during the grading process. Grading occurs according to our strict quality standards, and can include sorting based on size, depending on our clients’ needs.
We are accredited by Australian Certified Organic (260P) to handle organic produce. We are audited by both organisations on an annual basis.
Storage
At Dempster’s Seed Grading, our purpose-built facility has segregated, aerated bulk storage to ensure that your beans and grains are kept as fresh as possible. We can stabilise high moisture beans and grains until drying is possible, and also have a batch drying silo available if needed.
We have the facilities to store your goods while testing is done, and we have a covered loading bay, making dispatch possible in all weather conditions.
- We now have a mobile grading unit that is used for the grading and treating of grain right in your paddock!
- Seed can be graded and treated on your property to remove the headaches of transport.
- With this unit we provide the application of pickle (fungicide), insecticide and trace elements or nutrient treatments all within the grading process.

Edible sales
We are agents for both domestic and international buyers and traders of beans, grains and other crops for speciality markets. Our in-house traceability system ensures that each seed batch can be traced to the field it was grown in.
